About the School

Founded in 1957, California State University, Fullerton, commonly known as Cal State Fullerton, is a public university. Located in Fullerton, California, its 236-acre urban campus is about 30 miles south of Los Angeles. Enrollment is approximately 34,000 undergraduate and 5,000 graduate students. It is the largest university of the California State University system of 24 colleges and universities. Fullerton is in the Big West Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 12% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 46 fraternities and sororities. Cal State Fullerton has a Newman Center and FOCUS ministry.
