About the School

Founded in 1965, California State University, San Bernardino, commonly known as Cal State San Bernardino, is a public university. Located in San Bernardino, California, its 430-acre urban campus is about 60 miles east of Los Angeles. Enrollment is approximately 18,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. San Bernardino is in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA)  in the NCAA Division 2. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 6% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 9 fraternities and sororities. Cal State San Bernardino has an Office of Campus Ministry associated with the Diocese of San Bernardino.
