About the School
Founded in 1870, Canisius College is a private Catholic Jesuit college named after St. Peter Canisius. Located in Buffalo, New York, Canisius’ urban campus is 72 acres. Enrollment is approximately 2,000 undergraduate students. Canisius College is in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. Canisius College has an Office of Campus Ministry.
