About the School
Founded in 1769, Dartmouth College is a private Ivy League university. Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, Dartmouth’s 237-acre rural campus is about 120 miles from Boston. Enrollment is approximately 4,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. Dartmouth’s acceptance rate is less than 10%. Dartmouth is in the Ivy League Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 35% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 28 fraternities and sororities. Dartmouth has a Catholic student center called Aquinas House.
