About the School
Founded in 1966, Holy Cross College is a private Catholic college. Located in South Bend, Indiana, its 70-acre rural campus is on the outskirts of the University of Notre Dame. Enrollment is approximately 500 undergraduate students. Many students at Holy Cross participate in the Gateway Program that allows a transition into Notre Dame after one year. Holy Cross College is in the Patriot League in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. Holy Cross has a Campus Ministry and is directly affiliated with the Catholic groups of the University of Notre Dame.
