About the School
Founded in 1971, Liberty University is a private Evangelical university with an endowment over $1 billion. Located in Lynchburg, Virginia, its 7,000-acre urban campus is 115 miles west of Richmond. Enrollment is approximately 47,000 undergraduate students. Liberty is a FBS Independent in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. Liberty has a Catholic Campus Ministry.
