About the School
Founded in 1851, Marian University is a private Catholic university started by the Sisters of St. Francis. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, its urban campus is 120 acres. Enrollment is approximately 2,500 undergraduate and 1,100 graduate students. Marian is in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in the NCAA Division 3. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 5% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 8 fraternities and sororities. Marian University has a Catholic Campus Ministry.
