About the School
Founded in 1968, Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a Christian liberal arts college. Located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, its 327-acre rural campus is about 50 miles northeast of Columbus, OH. Enrollment is approximately 1,700 undergraduate students. Mount Vernon Nazarene University is in the Mid-Central College Conference in the NAIA. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. It has a Catholic Campus Ministry associated with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
