About the School
Founded in 1898, Northeastern University is a private university with an endowment over $1 billion. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, its urban campus is 73 acres. Enrollment is approximately 21,000 undergraduate and and almost 17,000 graduate students. Northeastern is in the Colonial Athletic Association in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 9% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 31 fraternities and sororities. Its acceptance rate is less than 25%. It has a Catholic Student Center.
