About the School
Founded in 1897, San Diego State University, or SDSU, is a public university. Located in San Diego, California, its urban campus is 300 acres. Enrollment is approximately 30,000 students. San Diego State University is in the Mountain West Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 15% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 46 fraternities and sororities. SDSU has a Newman Center and FOCUS ministry.
