About the School
Founded in 1871, Texas A&M University is a public university with an endowment over $10 billion. Located in College Station, Texas, its 5,200-acre suburban campus is about 100 miles east of Austin. Enrollment is approximately 53,000 undergraduate and 14,000 graduate students. Texas A&M University is in the Southeastern Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 10% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 58 fraternities and sororities. Texas A&M has the St. Mary's Catholic Center, Thomistic Institute chapter, and a FOCUS ministry.
