About the School
Founded in 1891, University of California Santa Barbara, or UCSB, is a public university part of the University of California System with an endowment over $10 billion. Located in Santa Barbara, California, UCSB’s urban campus is 989 acres. Enrollment is approximately 23,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students. UCSB is in the Big West Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 10% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 40 fraternities and sororities. UCSB has a Catholic University Parish and Thomistic Institute chapter.
