Founded in 1848, University of Mississippi, commonly known as Ole Miss, is a public university. Located in Oxford, Mississippi, Ole Miss’ campus is 3,804 acres. Enrollment is approximately 17,000 undergraduate and 5,000 graduate students. Ole Miss is in the South Eastern Conference (SEC) in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 39% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 35 fraternities and sororities. Ole Miss has a Catholic Campus Ministry, Thomistic Institute chapter, and FOCUS ministry.
