About the School

Founded in 1952 by St. Josemaría Escrivá, University of Navarra is a private Catholic university that functions as an apostolate of Opus Dei. Located in Pamplona, Spain, its urban campus is 279 acres. Enrollment is approximately 11,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students. University of Navarra is not NCAA affiliated. They have an intramural sports system directed and run by students. There is no "Greek life" (fraternities or sororities) on campus. It is one of 15 faithfully Catholic schools recommended by the Cardinal Newman Society.
