About the School
Founded in 1890, University of Oklahoma, or OU, is a public research university. Located in Norman, Oklahoma, OU’s 3,326-acre campus is 23 miles south of Oklahoma City. Enrollment is approximately 21,000 undergraduate and 6,000 graduate students. OU is in the Big Twelve Conference (BIG 12) in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 27% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 58 fraternities and sororities. OU has a St. Thomas More University Parish and Student Center, Thomistic Institute chapter, and FOCUS ministry.
