About the School
Founded in 1910, West Texas A&M University is a public university. Located in Canyon, Texas, its suburban campus is 135 acres. Enrollment is approximately 7,300 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. West Texas A&M University is in the Lone Star Conference in the NCAA Division 2. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 10% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 60 fraternities and sororities. It has a Catholic Student Center.
