About the School
Founded in 1701, Yale University is a private Ivy League university with an endowment over $30 billion. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, its 260-acre urban campus is about 80 miles north of New York City. Enrollment is approximately 5,000 undergraduate and 6,000 graduate students. Its acceptance rate is less than 10%. Yale is in the Ivy League in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 10% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 17 fraternities and sororities. Yale has a St. Thomas More Catholic Chapel and Center and Thomistic Institute chapter.
